Choose and Be Free

Until I have chosen I will always be deciding. Deciding is exhausting!

Choosing, however, is liberating. Once I’ve chosen I can just chuffing get on with it…

Whilst in the process of deciding I’ll take notice of all things that are in favour of my decision, and when something good happens I’ll use that to ‘prove’ my deciding process of being in favour.

Whilst in the process of deciding I’ll take notice of all things that are against, and when something bad happens I’ll use that to ‘prove’ my deciding process of being against.

Whilst this is going on I’ll fill my head with thinking, reasons to, reasons not to. A constant little battle going on up there.

And all this time I’ll remain a victim to all outside influences, like a damp pair of grey underpants hanging out on a washing line, swaying in the wind.

Once I have chosen I am free from so much thinking, and I can enjoy all the pros, and simply see any cons as circumstances to be danced around. Like driving to the airport whatever the weather.

If I want something I only need choose it.

Stop being imprisoned by deciding.
Choose and be free.
